It was 11.30am Saturday morning when Pa left for Rembau to fetch Wan for our planned trip to Mama's place in Sri Manja.
Pa stopped by OT Mohammad to get the Briyani Gam for lunch before its gone ...which is usually by 12.30pm. Since they only have Chicken Briyani Gam, Pa ordered beef rendang for Wan; she doesn't eat chicken.
Meanwhile, Ma and I stayed at Seremban. I was just keeping Ma company while she packs our weekend clothings; limiting them to as few bags as possible.
Before 2pm, Pa was already back at Seremban with Wan. Its Briyani Gam for lunch after Zohor prayers for them. Wan also cooked beef rendang and beef masak lemak with nangka (jack fruit).
Wan enjoying her Briyani Gam while Ma and I keep Wan company. Thats not my 'laptop' by the way...its Pa's.
We did not leave for KL until after Asar prayers. So we had time to ourselves to catch up on family stories. It was also a good opportunity for me to spend more quality time with Wan as I get full attention.
Wan reading me my story book...its in English by the way and Wan is telling it her way by looking at the pictures.
I also showed Wan my skills in the kitchen like pounding air?
Soon the call for Asar prayers was played on TV1...Pa and Ma had to take turns to perform their prayers to look after me. All our bags were already packed and we were ready to go. We hit the road about 5.45pm.
The battle of political parties flags is back with the nomination day scheduled on Sunday, 24th February 2008. The ruling Barisan Nasional wins hands down as far as campaigning budget is concerned by looking at the number of flags, banners and all sort of campaign paraphernalia being put up a day before the nomination day.

Just look at these BN and Umno flags at the flyover near Senawang.
And these of PKR (tastefully arranged) on the double arm street lighting.
6.17pm: Plus Highway Seremban-Kuala Lumpur...line clear!
Along the way, Pa called Kak Cik Nadia to check whether they were attending the wedding on Sunday. It turned out that they were in Lumut with Mak Ngah, Pak Ngah and Kak Long after attending the engagement of Pak Ngah's nephew in Taiping...but confirmed that they would make it to the wedding in KL on Sunday.
By 7.00pm we reached Sri Manja...Pa drove in and occupied Mama's parking bay as requested by her but they have not come back from fetching Kak Long Ili from her classes.
