After Maghrib prayers we left the house to get some tom yam and paprik to bring back kampung as Mama had just arrived kampung with Wan when Pa called them at 8.30pm...and the kampung house was not in order for them to do any cooking.
Pa stopped by the Family Store to get some drinking water as requested by Wan. Upon reaching kampung we noticed Pak Su & family were also at kampung. They had arrived much earlier and had been busy cleaning the house after being left for almost 6 weeks.
The big crowd at kampung shook me up from my sleep. Ma had to stay with me a while till I fell asleep again. Dinner was simple...the food we brought plus omelette, fried salted fish and a dish from Mak Ngah's house.
Just when all the dishes had been served, Ma noticed that the rice cooker was not switched on! We all had to wait a little while for the rice to be cooked over the stove...the National rice cooker had reached the end of its usefulness after more than 20 years!

Everyone, except me stayed up till late. By 3.00 am it was all quiet in the kampung house...all in dreamland.
