Its been a hectic day for Ma today. She complained to Pa that I slept only 2 hours today since Pa went off to work; an hour in the morning and an hour in the evening.
As a result of that, lots of her household work was disrupted as I would pester her to give me attention.
When Pa came back from work, she related to him all the things I did today. Pa took pity on Ma and decided to take her (and me) out for dinner; a rest evening for Ma...Hooray!
It rained in the evening around Maghrib, so we had to wait till the rain stopped before heading out for dinner. It didn't! When it was just drizzling, we made our move...Ma's choice was the Nasi Lemak Ayam stall in Ampangan.
We were fortunate to get a seat under the roof as the slight drizzle made all the crowd move in to the limited covered seating area. We noticed some potential customers leaving the stall as they could not get a seat.

I did a little revision with Pa while waiting for Ma to get ready.
I had to wear my 'Japanese Tourist' hat as it was drizzling when we reached the stall.
Hows that..."Little Japanese Girl" with her pacifier and her favourite "Jumbo"?
Some customers waiting for their take-away orders. The counter area has been given a face lift.
Our order has arrived...Nasi Lemak Telor Mata and Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng.
A closer look at Pa's Nasi Lemak Ayam Goreng
I also get to enjoy Ma's Nasi Lemak minus the sambal.
After dinner, we went to the clinic to follow up Pa's blood test result. Unfortunately, the doctor on duty has not come in yet. So, we headed for Giant to get the sweet Lokam selling at RM1.88 per kg, much cheaper than the pasar malam ones selling at RM5.oo per basket. True enough, we bought almost as many as the one offered by the pasar malam trader in Giant for only RM2.50!! And they say pasar malam stuff are cheap...that is no more true nowadays.
We left Giant with the Lokams, yogurt, bread for breakfast and a replacement padlock for our gate.
Meanwhile, back at the clinic, the doctor on duty was already in...so were a large number of patients waiting to see him. Pa had to wait almost an hour to see the doctor for his blood test result.
And the result? LDL cholesterol slightly on the high side at 3.0 MMOL/L...should be below 2.6 but the doctor assured Pa that there is nothing to be alarmed about, its still tolerable.
Thats a relief...and assuring. We reached home just before midnight. We had a good dinner out, managed to get some food and fruits at Giant and Pa getting his blood test result...all in one wet evening.

A quick snap at Giant car park on a drizzling evening.
