CNY Teddy Bear

On CNY afternoon, we went out to town. It was a hot day, just the right weather to try out my new Minnie Mouse hat.

Our plan was to go to Seremban Parade; Parkson in particular. Pa & Ma had decided to buy me a teddy bear as CNY present. I would always stop at the toy area everytime we were at Parkson; just to hold the fluffy soft toys on display. Today I would be able to hold one and take it home.

All set to go...in my new yellow hat

Pa saw this Merz E200 Kompressor heading for the highway and captured a shot of the beauty. Another thing that caught Pa's attention was the registration plate with the word 'Managing Director' and the company's name on it...something we rarely see MDs, CEOs display on their cars.

Here it is.

We did not have any problem with the parking at Parkson as most of the chinese communities were at home or travelling on their New Year.

We headed straight for the toy area...our main agenda.

Ma keeping an eye on me holding a teddy bear.

Also tried clutching another teddy bear while Ma checked out other size and colour. As we were there, an Indian cleaner suddenly stopped mopping the floor and stood near us. Ma thought we were hampering her work...we were not. She was just standing there watching us and even had the cheek to suggest the blue teddy bear! Blue? Definitely not a good choice.

This is what we settled for...a brown teddy bear.

Its late lunch after that at the Food Court area. Pa & Ma decided to try out the Thai section which turned out to be a bad choice. The food was just too plain with very little ingredients. They should have gone for the Nasi Campur stall as before but just wanted a change. I'm sure that stall will be struck off their list.

Keeping my new teddy bear close to me while Ma fed me my porridge.

We also checked out the newly opened Mercato supermarket at the basement of Parkson. The place was very deserted; maybe because of the festival holiday. Pa & Ma decided to go in to buy some stuff to bring to kampung later today.

These rides seem to be everywhere...but i don't mind at all.

Trying out the Donald Duck with Ma standing near for safety.

The deserted street on our way back to our Seremban home after the Parksong shopping.

Securing the gate before playing with my red ball.

We stopped by the pasar malam to buy more stuff to bring along to kampung. By the time we reached home it was almost 7.00pm.

Ma had already pre-packed our bags earlier. After Maghrib prayers, we left for Rembau; stopping by Johan Tom Yam to buy cooked food and tom yam for dinner.

Next episode...my Rembau kampung stay.
