Its Saturday, 9th February 2008...we had planned to spend the weekend at Ma's kampung in Rantau. There's also a wedding in Malacca to attend on Sunday.
All morning Ma was busy as a bee, doing the laundry from our balik kampung Rembau earlier on. Fortunately someone smart invented the washing machine; it takes away a lot of the hard work of doing hand wash. My clothes are all hand washed by Ma.

And playing a little 'Batu Serembang'...oops! Ma would not approve pinching some of her garden pebbles.
By 5.00pm all our bags were packed and ready to 'balik kampung'...the yellow bag contains my stuff while the grey one packs Pa & Ma's.
Never leave home without my food items in the green basket.
Seremban to Rantau is less than half hour drive taking the PLUS highway from Senawang toll and exiting at Rasah/PD toll. For 60sen...it's alright as we save some time.
Everyone were at home when we reached kampung...a short relaxing break at the gazebo area with Mami, Wan & Atuk.
The beauty of the old kampung house is the area under it. What used to be earth is now cement floor; a brilliant idea by Wan for her grandchildren to play under.

Another thing I get to enjoy is a ride on Atuk's motorcycle with Wan.

Time really flies...soon it was getting dark and we had to get back in before the mosquitoes get to us.
I had an early night to prepare for the following day's activity to attend a wedding in Malacca.
