Weekend At Sri Manja...Day 2

Its Sunday 3rd February 2008...Day 2 of our weekend at Sri Manja.

I had a very good night sleep and ready for more activities on my 2nd day at Mama's place. Kak Long had her class today and Mama sent her with Ma and I tagging along while Pa stayed back with Kak Cik & Wan.

We came back with breakfast.

We had roti telur for breakfast with coffee and soon found ourselves free for activities. Mama managed to find some old toys belonging to Kak Cik when she was a baby for me to play.

Soon I was on my way to explore.

The last time we were here, it was too brief to try out the pool at clubhouse area. There are two pools; one for adult and one for kids.

As the weather was fine, we decided to check out the pool.

Ma was soon in the knee-deep pool trying to coax me to jump in with Kak Cik watching nearby.

Slowly, I built my confidence to go in the poool with Ma holding my hands tight.

"Pa! Come and join in", I called.

In Pa's stronger hands, my confidence started to build up.

All the fun time in the pool made me forgot how cold the water was. My lips were turning pale and my body was starting to shiver...time to get out of the pool.

Scared look? Nope...I was really shivering in my swim suit.

On our way back to Mama's home in Ma's warm embrace.

We all had a short siesta in the afternoon; waking up about 1.30pm.

The trick worked...and I was soon in Wan's embrace with an orange as reward.

Later at 3.45pm, Mama went out to fetch Kak Long Ili who had finished her class earlier than expected. By 6.00pm Mama & Kak Long were back home.

Mama had cooked spaghetti for tea.

We had packed our bags ready to leave for Seremban after Maghrib as the wet weather continued outside since 4.00pm. As our car was parked outside the apartment compound, Mama had to accompany Pa to inform the guard to allow Pa to drive in. The security in the area has really been beefed up; the guard even wanted Pa to leave some identity until Mama started to show a little of her temperament.

We said goodbye to Wan, Mama, Kak Long & Kak Cik as Mama followed us to the security area to make sure we were allowed to leave.

It rained all the way to Seremban.

9.30pm the wet night greeted us at Senawang traffic light over the Seremban-Tampin road.

We reached home about 9.45pm. Ma was having a headache and decided to call it a night early. As for me...I was already fast asleep since we left Sri Manja. Pa had to carry all the bags in which is his normal duty.

We had a great time spending the weekend at Sri Manja. Thank you Mama, Kak Long & Kak Cik for the warm hospitality and good food while we were there. Also had some quality time with Wan.

Maybe do another repeat some day?
