Alamak Gas Dah Habis...Dinner Out

"Alamak! Gas Dah Habis!" I thought this phrase can only be heard and seen on TV advertisement for Gas Petronas but it happened to us today.

Pa was at work when our gas ran out. Ma called Pa to inform him that my porridge was on the stove when the gas cylinder ran dry. Unfortunately, Pa was too busy to leave office...Ma was on her own and had to make the most of whats available at home.

That evening Pa stopped by at the local mini market to order a replacement. A 14kg cylinder now is priced at RM24.00! Since the gas man arrived late to deliver our gas cylinder due to the rain, Pa decided to have dinner outside.

Just look at the cars parked outside Doll Tomyam when we arrived. It turned out the cars belonged to customers of a nearby Chinese Restaurant.

And for their drinks...Apple Juice for Pa (Doctor's advice) and Teh-O Limau for Ma.

After dinner, its playtime for me. Pa and Ma took turns to mind me while I ran around the restaurant. I saw this boy wearing a Mickey Mouse sandal and I was wearing a Minnie Mouse one.

We stopped by Giant to get more of the sweet Lokams to bring to Mama's house over the weekend.

Trying hard to decide which is better, left or right one.

We went back on a full tummy after a great dinner out, thanks to the gas which ran out. After today, its back to home cooking again.
