Oops...My Head Is Getting Bigger!

Remember this white cap I wore when I was in Jusco sometime in March last year? Ma was arranging some of my old clothings when she found the white cap. It used to fit my little head very nicely but now looks more like a borrowed item.

These series of photos were taken by Pa today with the white cap struggling to fit into my head.

A-go-go girl

This cap definitely does not belong on my head anymore.

Grinning from ear to ear

There was this article in The Star about this baby who was born in the toilet of a train in Ahmadabad. It fell through the toilet bowl right onto the track below. Miraculously, the baby survived but had to put under observation due to premature birth.

Thats the story in today's The Star

Syukur Alhamdulillah...I was born healthy without any incident like the story above. God is Great and He knows what is best for his 'hamba'.

My New Puzzle Toy

During my weekend at Sri Manja last weekend, Pa & Ma bought some things for me like this puzzle toy Ma got for me at Amcorp Mall.

Its got a house puzzle and numbers to be arranged within the boxed frame. I don't know about Pa, but I have seen Ma arranged all the blocks with ease. I am still learning from Ma.

This is one of the combination Ma did for me.

I get the chance to put them apart after Ma has arranged them.

It puzzles me sometimes which one goes where...thats why its called a puzzle!

Don't mind me...I'll get the hang of it soon. Give me some time, okay?

I now know how to differentiate between the number blocks and picture blocks though not their exact names. This puzzle is really fun.

Thanks Pa & Ma for the puzzle toy.

"Makcik" Alisya

Ma has this hairband to wear under her tudung. Today (27th February 2008) I had a chance to try it making me look more like a "Makcik".

These pics taken by Ma.

I am not ready yet laa, Ma

Is this pose alright?

A little show of my developing teeth perhaps?

Hee...hee...hee!

Okay Ma, can I come down from this chair now?

So, how do like my 'Makcik' look and Ma's photography skills? Can 'cari makan' this mother-daughter team?

p/s Jangan marah Pa...

Pa's Paparazzi Work

Last Tuesday, Pa came back from work while Ma & I were outside. Ma was getting the laundry on the hanger while I was busy in the garden playing with the basin Ma had left nearby.

After giving me hugs & kisses, Pa went in to perform his Asar prayers. We were still outside as Pa quietly again sneaked on me...and captured these action of me and the basin.

I think Ma would need this basin now...

Let me bring this to her.

Oops! Its not as light as I thought.

Well...Ma probably doesn't need it!

Before 7.00pm, Ma would ensure that I stay indoor as the mosquitoes would have easy meal with me out there. Furthermore, its not good to stay out during Maghrib.

Another sneaky work by Pa catching me operating the VCD player...I get more adventurous nowadays.

I thought I was already very careful not to get caught by Pa and his camera. Obviously he has the upper hand and succeed in most of his attempt to catch me off guard.

Thats my Pa.

When Pa Is Home...

Remember the other day when Ma was down with stomach upset or was it food poisoning and Pa had to take the day off?

Its always a fun day when Pa is around. I get to do lots of kid stuff I don't get to enjoy when Ma is around like these sets of pics taken on that day by Pa.

Scattering the cushions on the floor is a "No... No" for Ma. With Pa...see for yourself.

Pa would patiently pick the cushions up and arrange it nicely, occasionally with my help. Ma would tackle it differently...she would ask me to pick the cushions and show me where to place them; back in the same place I took from.

Aahh well...Men and Women are meant to be different anyway.

I also have this little toy car we got from McD or KFC that I like to play with Pa.

Our 2nd room which is also a guest room-cum-prayer room is also my favourite play area.

Pa sneaked on me and got this shot of me on the prayers mat...playing! Well...its a good start getting closer to praying to The Almighty; isn't it?

Ma recovered well that evening and all is well again. Thanks Pa for taking the day off to care for Ma & I.

Love you both...kiss...kiss...kiss!

A Visit To Senawang Child Specialist

On Monday, 25th February 2008, Pa had to take the day off to care for his 2 ladies...Ma was down with stomach upset since Sunday evening and I was developing some rashes.

Pa was already on his way to work when Ma called him to return home as she was too weak to do anything. McD drive-in was Pa's pit stop to get some porridge for me and breakfast for himself and Ma before going home. Unfortunately, only Pa ate the packed food from McD as Ma and I did not feel like having them.

For lunch, Pa packed rice and some dishes including soup for me from a nearby stall. By afternoon, Ma was a little stronger to wake up for lunch and feed me too.

That evening, Pa & Ma decided to take me to the Child Specialist in Senawang to check the rashes on my arms. We were at the clinic just before 7.00pm and had to wait for 5 patients before us.

Pa & I posing in front of the clinic...just take a look at my sporting dressing!

We found a little corner to ourselves in the crowded clinic to keep us occupied before our turn came.

Now why am I not smiling like Pa?

Looking a little restless on the little chair.

There were story books and magazine to read and Ma was there to keep me occupied.

The toys and pictures in the clinic caught my attention.

Also made some friends while waiting.

As soon as we stepped into the doctor's room when my name was called, the whole of Senawang could hear my cry of fear. I still have not got over fear of strangers and the doctor is still a stranger to me.

After some explanation by doctor we quickly found our way out to get me out of my misery. Pa waited for the anti-allergy medicine and some cream for my rashes.

We returned to Senawang area after Maghrib prayers to get my powdered milk and dinner for Pa & Ma.

That evening Ma gave me the anti-allergy medicine using the syringe provided by the clinic. That didn't go well with my taste buds and Ma suddenly found me throwing up everything I had consumed earlier. There goes my dinner, yogurt etc on the floor and on Pa's shirt.

When I was fast asleep, Ma applied the lotion on the rashes. Hope the rashes would clear away soon.

Weekend at Sri Manja..Day 2 Journey Home

We send Mak Ngah & family off up to the elevator of the condominium as they had parked their car outside the Sri Manja compounds.

Mak Ngah & family getting into the elevator.

Goodbye from Mak Ngah, Pak Ngah, Kak Long Azu & Kak Cik Nadia.

Pa had a nap soon after Mak Ngah left to recharge before the journey home. We had to send Wan back to Rembau first before heading home. In the meantime, its playtime for my cousins and I.

This alphabet-picture toy I am playing with Kak Aina belongs to Kak Long Ili when she was about my age now.

Back in Kak Long Ili's room, her laptop was connected to the TV3 station playing recorded programmes.

All attention on the screen.

Kak Cik Liyana in the meantime was busy recording all the happening and was waiting anxiously to capture me in action...she did it!

Soon, it was our turn to start packing our bags to leave for our home.

The sending off party followed us to our car which was parked at Mama's parking bay.

Hugs & kisses

A group shot before leaving Sri Manja.

Pa did not head for the highway but made a return trip to Section 14 to get his external hard disk.

It was already 6.00pm when we passed PJ Hilton area.

Pa finally managed to get the hard disk; a Western Digital brand with a capacity of 160GB with dual mode...IDE and SATA at RM230. The night before, one of the shop was selling a 120GB for that price and another selling a 160GB for RM299. Hope this is a good buy and would last our digital photo storage for the next couple of years. The current desktop and laptop only has 20GB each.

The Digital Mall building at 6.00pm...not very impressive in daylight as it did at night with neon lighting.

We were soon on our way home...passing the Angkasapuri area at 6.45pm

By 7.00pm we passed Bangi area with the setting sun in the horizon.

7.30pm...Senawang Toll

We reached Rembau in time for Maghrib prayers. Then Wan suggested that we stayed for dinner which Pa did not refuse. It was simple omelette and sambal tempoyak but sure was appetizing.

Wan warming up some of the food we brought from the kenduri.

I had a great time running around the hall with the "tasbih" around my neck like a Shaolin kid.

Wan Teh joined us later after her dinner. We left for our Seremban home after Isya' prayers. It was a packed weekend and we had a truly enjoyable stay at Mama's place. She must have been extremely exhausted to entertain the big group over the two days.

Thanks Mama, Kak Long and Kak Cik for putting up with us for the weekend. Do drop by our place when you drive down to kampung next time and we'd be glad to have you spend time at our little Seremban home.

Weekend at Sri Manja..Day 2 - The Wedding

We rushed back to Mama's place from Amcorp Mall to get ready to attend the wedding at Taman Datuk Harun nearby. The Bride & Groom is different and special...they are both visually impaired.

Its 1.00pm when we reached the kenduri area.

Mak Ngah and family were already there earlier. They just got in from Lumut after attending the engagement in Taiping. Congratulations to Kak Cik Nadia for driving the car to Taman Datuk Harun from somewhere in Perak

Greetings from Mak Ngah to Wan

The Groom's parents...the lady is Wan's younger sister.

The young ladies from Ayob Clan digging into the buffet kenduri.
(R to L: Kak Nabila, Kak Cik Liyana & Kak Cik Nadia)

After having our buffet meal, we went to meet the Groom's parents who were happy to see the big group of us from Ayob Family.

Wan being greeted by her sister and hubby while the rest of the members look on.

There were more relatives to meet and the greetings goes on.

Live entertainment was provided by this group of visually impaired musician comprising of all but one female singer belting local malay numbers.

The Band performing in the porch of one of the terrace house.

The lead female and male visually impaired singers.

The matching couple in blue traditional outfit...one would not never realise the bride is also visually impaired.

There was a 'Berarak' from the corner nearby despite their handicapped vision.

Then the Bride & Groom threw sweets to the waiting kids; if only they could see the happiness in the kids when grabbing the sweets.

A "Pelamin"(dais) in the blue theme completes the typical Malay Wedding.

The 2.30pm heat of the afternoon was getting unbearable and we bade goodbye and congratulate the Bride's parents and left the wedding and headed back to Mama's place joined by Mak Ngah & family.

Back at Mama's place, Mak Ngah distributed some goodies she bought in Lumut. They left for their Semenyih home around 3.00pm.

We stayed back until after Asar prayers.

To be continued...
