"Thank God It's Friday"...sounds like title of an old movie. Who is not happy when Friday comes as that means the weekend is back and I can have more time with Pa & Ma.
That would have been the case before this; but its all changed from this week onwards. Ma has to go to work on Saturdays...awwww! To make it worse, she has to go outstation early tomorrow morning and would probably come back in the evening.
This morning, I was forced by Ma to get out of bed at 6.30am as a swarm of bees had decided to pay us a visit. A small group was dancing around the fluorescent lamp in the living area while a bigger group of more than 100 bees were disco dancing around the fluorescent lamp in the bedroom.
The bees were actually from our neighbour's house; they have started building a nest at the roof area near their master bedroom. Ma was really unhappy as this was spotted months ago but no action had been taken. Her worst fear is that the bees would one day attack me or their grandchild in their house! That'll be the day...we would not want to see!
Anyway, it was Pa who became the exterminator. Armed with the 'Shieldtox' aerosol spray in one hand and a rolled newspaper in the other, he went for the smaller group first. As soon as the bees fall on the floor, Pa would immediately whack it flat...mercy killing! Once that was done, he moved on in the master bedroom for the bigger kill.
Ma & I meanwhile took cover in the other room. Who knows, the angry bees might decide to do a counter attack on us. Fortunately, they didn't.
When it was all over, Pa went about to take his bath, perform his late Subuh prayers and have breakfast.

I managed to get a piece of bread with margarine spread from Pa
The dead bees nicely packed by Pa. Maybe send it over next door?
No...of course not. We treasure our good neighbour relationship more.
All our stuff had been prepared by Ma including my porridge, Pa's water and her plant in magic gel which she prepared last night.
Pa had to speed a little on the highway today to make up for the lost time dealing with those unwelcome bees. Its T&G (touch and go) as usual...they dropped me off at kampung and immediately went off to work.
This is the MPN building in Nilai. Pa was here today...work matters.
Pa bought one of these roasted chicken at Nilai on his way back.
Ma got a lift from Mami today, so she was home earlier than Pa.
Earlier today, Atuk had collected the BN flags around the kampung area. Its such a waste to see those flags (including UMNO) lying on the ground. The party workers who were so hardworking before the election to put them up should have at least do the courtesy of bringing them down and keep them for future use. Its public money being spent which they don't realise.

Atuk...the seasoned and faithful supporter of BN doing the noble thing.
That aside, I had a great time on the traditional swing under the kampung house. Nothing fancy, just a piece of sarong tied using nylon rope under the floor joist.
Here's me having a swinging time!
Its early dinner for Pa & Ma again. Wan had cooked Ayam Masak Lemak and Sambal Sardin (Uncle Li loves this). There was also the roasted chicken Pa bought and Ulam Raja.
By 7.20pm we were ready to leave for our Seremban home. I had my hat on as the sound of thunder was hinting that a heavy downpour is coming.
Wan helped to carry me to the car.
This billboard advertisement at the traffic junction near the toll entrance to KL always catches my attention.
We reached home just in time before the heavy rain started. I was so tired that I slept all the way from kampung. I did wake up later at 8.00pm for my milk and change of diapers.
Ma served the Dragon Fruit...the white one we bought at Giant recently.
What a day its been. Tomorrow I'd be sent back to kampung again; I have no problem with that. Mami would be home anyway. Pa has some errands to do like settling the house bills etc. and Ma would be back only later in the evening.
I know I have the swing at kampung waiting for me.
See Ya tomorrow!
