Dinner At Johan Tomyam

On Thursday evening, Pa treated Ma & I to dinner out at Johan Tomyam near Taman Mentari. Ma wanted to go to Doll Tomyam but Pa decided otherwise since the last trip there was just last month.

We left immediately after Pa & Ma had performed their Maghrib prayers so as not to get caught in the month-end crowd at Johan. By 8.00pm we were already there deciding where to seat.

The far corner of Johan was Pa's choice with Ma's nodding in agreement. Come see our dinner out at Johan in pictures below:

"Now...can I have this one Ma?" as I look through the menu.

Hi Ma!

Ma managed to get a baby seat for me and I managed to grab Ma's straw from her 'air tembikai'

The seats were mostly empty when we arrived.

While waiting for their order to arrive, Ma made sure I get fed first...the usual Ma's homemade porridge.

Their order...'tomyam campur', 'telur dadar', 'sayur paprik' and 'kerabu mangga' to go with white rice. Unfortunately, the kerabu mangga never arrived...what a letdown. This place is losing their credibility and their rating is going down in our list.

Ma keeping me company while Pa takes his dinner.

We left Johan Tomyam feeling a little disappointed with the food. The tomyam did not taste like it used to and the quantity is getting smaller. Ma also could not finish her 'air tembikai' which didn't taste good either.

Fortunately, I am still on Ma's porridge diet...so I have no complaints.

My Jumbo and I...we are seldom apart especially for bedtime.

On our way back to our Seremban home, we stopped by the 'pasar malam' to get some stuff. Ma decided to keep the pacifier for fear that I might lose it in the 'pasar malam' area but allowed me to hang on to my 'Jumbo'.

While at the fish area, tragedy struck Jumbo! It accidently slipped out of my hand and landed first in the wet fish tray before ending on the ground. Pa & Ma were just speechless! The fishmonger was kind enough to spare us a plastic bag to put poor Jumbo in. Now it is a really dirty and smelly Jumbo.

Immediately when we got home Ma gave Jumbo a little scrubbing and spin followed by drying under the fan. It did not remove the fishy smell of which I had to bear with the whole night.

What a night...unsatisfactory dinner and tragedy on Jumbo.
