Saturday Outdoor Activity

It wasn't long before all three of us were bored staying in. After Asar we left our house with the excuse of going out to get my milk powder...which was not a made up story but a true and good reason. The slight drizzle had stopped when we drove out of our porch area.

Pa did not say a word where he was taking Ma & I but I knew Ma had suspicion that it would be Jusco. True enough, Pa took the highway for a faster trip there as it was 6.10pm when we reached Jusco.

The place was not as busy as we expected for a pre-Chinese New Year weekend unlike weekends prior to Hari Raya which would have the whole of Seremban Malays out to spend their hard earned money!

Anyway, we headed for the food court, which was our first the minute we entered the mall.

The following photos would be a better way to tell our evening escapade away from home today.

This dreamy and tired look captured by Pa tells the whole story and send the message across that its time to leave the house for some fresh air!

At the Jusco Food Court, Ma bought me this chocolate chip bun.

I decided to help myself rather than being fed by Ma...I am a big girl now.

This Ipoh Curry Laksa was Pa's order

This is the Laksa Sarawak Ma had.

In Jusco, Ma would make sure that I was in her safe hands and that I don't leave her sight. You know how dangerous it is today to leave children alone with crooked and evil person out there who takes advantage of the slightest slip by parents. Hope the Sharlinie girl would be found or returned safely to her parents soon.

The window display in one of the shops in Jusco caught my attention and I had to stop to feast my eyes. Who knows...the bait might work and Pa would go for a bite...hint! hint!

It worked like charm. Pa decided to get something for me to take advantage of the CNY offer in Jusco. Ma did the choosing and Pa did the paying. Ma always had this idea that items on offer for CNY is much better than for Hari Raya. The discounts are better, the price slashing bigger and selection is wider. I wonder if that is true.

This is the pink blouse Ma chose for me.

And a pair of jeans to match.

Isn't that a perfect match? Hmm...I recall there is a wedding invitation this coming CNY break. Perhaps I could put on this new outfit for that occasion.

We did go to the supermarket to get my milk powder and other food stuff after the purchase of my new outfit. We left Jusco before 9.00pm which was very early by Pa & Ma's standard taking the highway again to reach home earlier as I was already sleepy.

The Angkasawan billboard stood mysteriously up there over the main road before joining the highway...The Dreams Are Possible Motto is a good one but the billions spent on a single person is something else.

I was as usual fast asleep well before we reached home. Ma changed me, made me a bottle of warm milk and tucked me to bed.

Thanks for the outing and the new outfit...Pa & Ma!
