Down With Fever

On Saturday 19th January 2008, we officially ended our long stay at Ma's kampung for the duration that Wan & Atuk went for their pilgrimage in Mecca.

I was not feeling too well when we left kampung; our first stop was the clinic. The child specialist at Senawang was closed by the time we got there. So, Pa & Ma had no other choice but to take me to the normal clinic.

True enough...my body temperature was past 38 deg C. The GP prescribed me medication for flu, antibiotics and one for phlegm...all in liquid form of course. We headed straight home after that.

Pa & Ma put me on my little mattress with my Jumbo and played my favourite sing-along cd to calm me down.

I was not active for the whole of Saturday.

On Sunday, when my body temperature had gone down to almost normal, Pa & Ma took me out to get some fresh air. We headed for Seremban 2 where they stopped by this Masak Asam Restaurant opposite the Mahkamah Complex. At 4.30pm there wasn't much of a choice for them. Ma just ordered nasi lemak while Pa tried their Masak Asam Pedas.

The damage? Ikan Masak Asam and fried kangkong with white rice and warm teh o limau for Pa...Nasi lemak with sambal and fried eggs with teh-o-ais limau...RM13.00! Ma thought the price was a little stiff. What say you?

I was still not in my usual self when we were at the restaurant. The "too friendly" shop owner did not help by smoking next to us! Thats probably the first and last time we would go to the restaurant.

Thats the Masak Asam Pedas and Fried Kangkong Pa had.

Our plan to go to Jusco was cancelled as I was still not feeling well. Instead we headed back to our home, stopping by Giant to get some food stuff.

I got this red ball with cartoon character on it in Giant.

Despite not feeling well, Pa & Ma allowed me to play with my new red ball a little while outside.

Last week it was Ma who was having fever. Now its me. Hope to get better soon.
