Little Red Walking Shoes

Last Thursday, 10th January 2008 was a public holiday in conjunction with Awal Muharram. The 3 of us went out to Parkson at noon. As usual, the place was quiet...I wonder where the Seremban people go to on a public holiday. Perhaps stay at home or go to Jusco? We had our plan for the day.

First thing we did when we reached Parkson was to have our lunch at the food court. Ma had packed my usual porridge while they had nasi campur from one of the stall. We had no problem choosing a seat as the place was equally quiet. Hmmm...could the traders here run a profitable business here at the slow rate customers appear?

At one corner of the food court was a play area for kids and I had a chance to check it out after our lunch. We headed for the kids section of Parkson after that...and Pa bought me a pair of Disney red shoes; all in the spirit of the forthcoming Chinese New Year.

Now I have 2 pairs of walking shoes ever since I could walk...The Tom & Jerry shoes which Pa bought at Parkson on New Year and now Disney shoes...all in the animal theme.

Photos below by Pa.

Just look at Pa's nasi campur with ikan keli masak lemak, tempe goreng and some veggie while Ma took telur goreng masak kicap and sayur tumis air...for me too. Thats teh ais limau by the way.

I'm getting the hang of riding one of these...seems to be at many playgrounds

A pose with Ma

This is the red shoes I mentioned. I now wear size 4!

Once we got home, I put it on for a test walk...very comfortable

This coming Tuesday night I'd probably be wearing my new red shoes to KLIA to fetch Wan & Atuk who are coming back from their pilgrimage in Mecca.

Oooo...I can't wait for Tuesday! Thanks Pa & Ma for the Little Red Walking Shoes.
