Today, Saturday 8th December 2007, Pa, Ma and I attended a wedding at Gedung Lalang. This lady (Pn. Zai as is called by Pa) who works in a company in TTJ, where Pa is involved in their factory extension invited Pa on behalf of her elder brother who is marrying off his daughter. We left our house at 1pm, dressed for the occasion. The house is perched on top of a small hill looking grand with roman pillars, ballustrades and all. Parking area was provided at a clearing overlooking the house, with the traffic controlled by Rela personnels. Guests were slowly coming and increasing in numbers when we were having the 'nasi minyak'.
Lets look at some photos...

Posing in front of our house before leaving for the wedding...the customary shot.
Thats the house with purplish canopies for guests to enjoy their feast.
This Pn Zai was very pleased to see Pa with Ma and I arrive at the wedding despite the late invitation. She sure gave us all the attention and even introduced to many of her family members.
This is the Bride (Pn Zai's niece) and the Groom arriving at about 1.45pm
The Pengantins at the pelamin in purple theme with Pengapit and a flower girl
Ma and I would not want to miss the shot with the pelamin in the background
And another at the entrance; that lady in white pants was the emcee for the ceremony
We truly enjoyed the occasion and glad Pa accepted the invitation. Before we left, they gave away a bagfull of foodstuff for us to take home, a customary way of saying thank you from the family.
