Last Tuesday (4th December 2007), a day after we sent Wan & Atuk off at Kelana Jaya for their Haj, Pa & Ma took the day off. We reached home from Kelana Jaya late after stopping by at PJ for late dinner...when I was fast asleep, as usual.
The day went by swiftly when we were just doing nothing at home but resting our tired bodies. By 3pm boredom of staying indoors and the urge to see some sunshine outside got the better of us...or was it Pa?
Ma was the one who suggested we have popia at Paroi Stadium...we haven't been there quite a while. Not Ma's favourite being too close to the Muslim cemetary especially late evening. Pa has no problem with that...'its just another different address for the dead, says Pa'. Since it was still bright and sunny, we headed for popia stall.
Here goes the rest of the event...

Thats Ma & I posing for Pa...by the way, that ballon is from Kelana Jaya. 'Opportunist business' thought Pa...
We got a table right in front of the stall...its a working day anyway, thats why it was a little deserted...but not for long. While we were there the Gomen servants started coming in during working hours?) to pack some popia to office/ home.
Da Man himself...cheerful and friendly posing for Pa.
His shadowy figure behind the Popia Kuala Kangsar stall...just look at his stock for the day's biz.
The view of Paroi Stadium from where we were seated. Only the state and nasional flag left high up the stadium flag post.
Our orders...partially consumed. Pa opted for the el-cheapo Long Chan sarsaparilla while Ma went for her favourite 'Teh-O-Ais limau'. The rojak and popia still as tasty as before. Thats my porridge in the green container...never leave home without it!
By 4.30pm we were already in the car...ready to head home.
We did not go home immediately after the popia (as usual) but headed for town. We ended up at Seremban Parade only to reach home later after Maghrib...typical of Pa & Ma.
I don't mind, anyway. Thanks both of you. Mwaaaah!
