We went back to Rembau, Pa's kampung for Aidildha on Friday. We had to stop by our Seremban home to pick up some stuff while Pa went for his Friday prayers at the nearby mosque. We stopped by OT for Pa and Ma to have their lunch; unfortunately the briyani gam was finished by then. Even the normal briyani was gone, too. The 2nd pot of briyani would only be ready in 20 minutes...so Pa & Ma went for plain white rice with chicken & lamb.
Lunch at OT...plain white rice with ayam madu, ayam goreng (for me) and lamb masala.
We reached Rembau just before Asar...bumped into Mama who were on their way to Chengkau to visit arwah Atuk's sister & brother. It was already drizzling when we reached there. Lucky for us, it really poured once we were in the house. Later on our way back to Pa's kampung we stopped by to visit Wan's sister.
This is arwah Atuk's eldest sister and the second eldest brother...a balanced and needed partnership; his eldest sister is hard of hearing while the brother is blind.
Kak Long, Ma & Kak Cik helped in preparing the tea. We also dropped by to see Pa's cousin in her new house nearby.
Thats Pak Teh & Mak Teh and the rest of us...glued to the programme on tv
Everyone were already at kampung...Mak Ngah & Kak Cik, Mak Lang & family, Pak Su & family. That night Wan started to prepare the lemang planned for the following day while the kids were all having some fun.

Kids are just kids...so are teenagers
Here's Abg Lokman showing his acrobatic skills in the air
The adults stayed up a bit to share stories while the kids hit the sack just about midnite. The next day has been planned for the bakar lemang event.
