Red Lips And The Dragon Fruit

Last Tuesday, Pa came home from his work at Bahau bringing back ciku and buah naga (dragon fruit) to Ma's delight. The dragon fruit is sold at RM5 per kilo from the roadside stall while the ciku is only RM3 per kilo. Ma loves ciku...the dragon fruit is something we would like to try and acquire the taste. For me...I have never tasted both fruits, so it'll be my first.

On Wednesday, while Pa was at work, Ma cut open the purplish coloured dragon fruit for me to taste. It was just about right for eating; a day after brought them home.

Follow the rest of the story below.

I just could not wait for Ma to scoop the fruit for me. The juicy purple coloured fruit was just so tempting that I helped myself to it.

I was caught red lipped by Ma on Pa's camera. Yummy! This stuff is really good. Ma couldn't wait for Pa to come back to show him photos of me 'attacking' the dragon fruit.

Soon Ma was scooping the fruit for me to enjoy

Here's whats left of the dragon fruit

The ciku had to wait as it was still not ripe yet, but the dragon fruit sure taste good. Thanks Pa for bringing it home and Ma for feeding me.

Whenever you are going to Bahau again do not forget the dragon fruit, okay Pa?
