Outing on Pa & Ma's Special Day

Its a special day today for Pa & Ma...its the eve of their 10th Wedding Anniversary! To mark this special day, we had an outing from noon till midnight... we reached home almost midnite! Come join our Labour Day marathon outing cum 10th Wedding Anniversary Celebration.

We did not leave the house until just after 2.00pm...its a public holiday after all and employees are supposed to have a good rest day.

Hmm...what shall I get for Pa & Ma for their Wedding Anniversary?

After Zohor prayers, we were all dressed up and ready for an outing. Lunch was the first agenda on the list.

"Like Mother Like Daughter"...a little appreciation of Ma's gardening work

All passengers aboard...and we were off.

Our first stop was lunch at KFC. Ma recommended Pa to try out their Chicken Rice...they have the combo meal with soup and drinks. They both ordered the same Chicken Rice; Pa preferred the hot&spicy.

Big smile for the camera!

This is the Chicken Rice Ma was talking about.

After our KFC lunch, Pa took us for a secret destination trip. He did not say where but asked us to just be quiet and enjoy the journey.

Ma & I reciting our doa before our journey...Amin!

We took the Labu road heading to Nilai. Halfway there, somewhere before Labu, Pa took the junction to LBJ. Ma was more puzzled...she had taken this route before and knew that along this road, its just rubber and palm oil plantations along the way.

Its sure getting mysterious...

On a clear road Pa stopped by the roadside to photograph the scene...a chinese cemetary?

We soon found out where Pa was taking us...

Its Bagan Lalang!

Being a public holiday, the Bagan Lalang beach front was packed with people taking advantage of the rest day. Some probably had taken an extra day off to further enjoy an extended weekend. It was Asar when we reached the beach area, so we decided to head for the nearby surau.

While Ma was in the surau, I had a fun time under the shades of the trees. Thats the surau in the background.

There was this hammock which I could not resist...I just had to get on it. Ma smiled looking at me relaxing under the tree.

Its really nice and cooling here...

I was having a great time running around freely...the road was clear of motor vehicles.

They have all sorts of accommodation here like this one in the backround.

Ma joined me later for my walkabout.

At the beach front, many traders operate freely selling stuffs like floats, beach balls, kites etc. Ma took me to one of the traders to ask about the prices of items displayed.

There's just so many to choose from.

I saw something that I liked and pointed to the direction, urging Ma to get it for me.

Hooray! I have a yellow bouncy beach ball. Thanks Ma.

There was this pony ride nearby which Pa & Ma took me with the hope that I try my first horse ride. It did not happen as I was too afraid to get on the little pony. Ma asked the operator how much can the pony carry...around 50kg said the friendly man. Unfortunately, he does not allow two riders on the same horse. It'll be difficult to handle when two riders are on it.

So...here is the single rider that made it....Ma!

We headed for the beach to enjoy the scenery and the setting sun.

The sun setting in the horizon.

The sun almost disappearing in the horizon.

Pa decided to give Ma a seafood dinner treat at the Sri Bagan stall. We stopped by the surau to perform our Maghrib prayers before heading for the stall. It was really packed with holiday makers from all walk of life and ages.

We were lucky to get a table where a couple with their kid had just finished their dinner. After booking the table we went to the stall to choose our choice of seafood.

Ma making her selection with me looking very interested.

Selection made and cooking style selected...now its the waiting game.

A pose on the deck area while our table is being cleaned.

Soon the food arrived but I was already sleepy...its 9.00pm by the way!

We took the Nilai route on our way back, joining the Plus highway from Nilai. Pa thought it was a safer road than the LBJ one.

We entered Nilai toll at 10.50pm!

This is what I did all along the way fom Bagan Lalang.

Despite a tiring outing, we all enjoyed ourselves on this eve of Pa & Ma's 10th Wedding Anniversary.

"Happy 10th Wedding Anniversary" to Pa & Ma....I love you both...mmmmwwwaah!
