Hutan Lipur Ulu Bendul

We made our way down from Kuala Pilah with the intention to stop at Ulu Bendul Recreation Park for tea. They have stalls selling all kind of food and drinks including picnic items like floats, balls etc.

It was almost 6.00pm when we reached the recreation park. It was reasonably packed with Saturday travelers taking a break and some to have a dip in the cold fresh water. The place has seen some sprucing up by the council to make it more attractive to visitors.

Ma was all smiles when we reached our intended stopover.

There were many stalls to choose from, most selling the same food and drinks. We chose to sit at the stall under the shade as the evening sun was too glaring for the eyes.

Pa had this ABC while Ma opted for the cendol.

Since we were there, Pa & Ma decided to take me for a walk in the park. We did not venture deep in the park as it was getting late and the mosquitoes would have a great feasting time on the three of us.

Crossing the bridge over to the other side.

A view of the same bridge from a distance.

A man-made pond attracted some youths having a cool evening dip.

From a distance, the pool water cascades downstream.

A downstream view of the river.

Its a nice scene with the mountains in the background...must be very cold in the morning here.

Catch me if you can, Ma!

The boulders made good props for our photo sessions.

A last look before we called it a day.

That was it...a simple stopover at the recreation park.

A shot for the album of the 2 "tourists" from Seremban.

The journey downhill of Bukit Putus took less than 20 minutes. We stopped by at McD drive-in to buy some fries for me.

That was quite a Saturday we had ... a packed agenda. We were tired but happy that we made it to the wedding and the little stops along the way home.
