Every year, 30th April is a date when most responsible Malaysians would make the last minute rush to file their tax return with LHDN. Somehow, last minute filing is a die hard habit we all have...Pa included. He had collected his e-Filing pin some 2 weeks back but still decided to do it on the very last day. So, on our way back to our Seremban home, we dropped by the LHDN office in town which had extended their working hours till 10.00pm.
After handing his e-Filing Pin No slip to the LHDN officer, Pa waited for his turn to go online on the PC's provided. A queue was building up at the counter requesting for e-Filing pin no.
On a side table near the entrance some free refreshments were provided but we were not there for a drink.

The whole process of entering data into the template took less than 10 minutes; the wait for a free terminal was much longer.
While Pa was busy at the terminal, I was enjoying a banana for some energy food.
All smiles...e-Filing done!

From the LHDN office, we headed straight home.
Thats the end of April and a new month awaits us.
