KTM Tragedy in Seremban...Photos

Remember the KTM train tragedy in Kg Baru Rahang, Seremban recently? Well, we went out on the 2nd day of the accident to get closer to the accident site where the southbound passenger train jumped the track killing the locomotive driver who plunged with in the muddy waters.

Actually Pa wanted to take some photos of the accident to post in his photo forum. Anyway, here are some of the photos of the tragic accident.

Kg Baru Rahang, a sleepy small village just outside town on the way to Tampin.

Thats the crane boom we saw from a distant doing the cleaning up of the track.

This ice cream seller is having a good business day today.

A policewoman taking a picture of the ill-fated coach using her camera phone.

Unlike the policewoman, this policeman was looking down where the poor driver got killed.

One of the passenger coach being lifted onto the track by the crane.

Even the volunteers and security personnel were curious to see the cleaning up works by KTM workers.

On the other side of the track another passenger coach lay in the ditch waiting to be hauled back onto the track.

Another coach lying on its side while cleaning up work was concentrated on the other side.

The hot day has taken its toll on this RELA volunteer.

Despite this tragedy, train ride still remain one of the safest public transport which is still in operation.
