Of Porridge & Yogurt

Its middle of the week again and we have also reached the middle of May 2008. Its another working day routine for me to spend the day at kampung with Wan & Atuk.

I woke up later than usual; well actually Ma woke me up after packing all my stuff in the car. I was so sleepy that I continued my sleep all the way to kampung only to wake up upon hearing my name being called by Wan.

It was just after 6.00pm when Pa & Ma came back from work. I was outside with Wan, Nenek Induk and our neighbour's 2 girls. The two girls have become my regular companions in the evening.

Its my porridge time with Ma.

Just look at our neighbour's 2 girls posing with me for Pa as Ma looked on smiling.

There was this bucket outside the kitchen door that got me curious.

"Look Ma, there are some fishes in there!"

Atuk joined in with a stick to prod the fish. It wasn't moving anymore.

Then it was my turn.

Its tough when there's water problem at kampung. Our place on the hill does not help at all when the pressure is insufficient to drive the water up.

Today, some contractors were doing some repair works near the kampung surau resulting in the shutdown of water for all.

Atuk had to use the water stored in the barrel.

After our early dinner and Maghrib prayers, we left for our Seremban home. The journey home is as usual smooth.

Back home I get to enjoy my favourite yogurt.

Its spoon lickin' good

Success in a cup...I finished one cup of yogurt!

All the playing and running around at kampung made me very tired. I called it a day early.

Hopefully, the water pipe has been repaired and that the supply at kampung be back to normal when I go back tomorrow.

Good night from me...
