The day is coming to an end as the evening sun slowly descend disappear at the horizon...but Pa was still busy capturing the moment with his new gadget.

Here are some...

The Anjung with natural light peeping through the windows.

Pa's candid capture of me having a great time getting dressed by Ma.

...and still having fun.

Hope you enjoyed the shots as I did in it.

Test Shot With Pa's New Toy

Pa has been a little busy getting to know his new toy...Nikon D80. He seem to be trigger happy to shoot anything and everybody to get use to the new gadget.

There seem to be more control buttons and looked like better picture quality than his previous Fuji S5600.

Anyway, here are some shots to share...

I am of course his favourite model...here posing at the red staircase in Ma's kampung.

The sun peeking through the leaves. Shot taken at Pa's kampung.

KLIA elevator shot from above...taken last Saturday when sending off Mak Lang to UK.

Another shot taken at KLIA...handles of the trolley.

There was a wedding we attended at Pasoh 3 last Sunday. Will try to post story and pix from that event later.

Pa's New Toy

Pa is very excited with his new toy he bought at The Mines recently. Ma shares Pa's excitement. Me...I will be busy posing for them.

Its been 5 days since Pa got his new D80 dslr but never really had a chance to test it out. We leave the house before 8.00am and by the time we get home it'll be past 8.00pm...a full 12-hours cycle.

So, there is not much we can share here at the moment.

This is one of the few shots of me at kampung taken by Pa. using his D80.

This weekend, Mak Lang would be flying to UK to meet Bang Long there. Unfortunately, I won't be able to join the sending off party since her flight is at 10.00am and its a working day for Ma.

Pa would be able to make it and probably try out his D80 there.

Wish Mak Lang safe trip there and enjoy the holidays.

Quick Outing on Wesak Day

Last Monday, 19 May 2008 we did a quick getaway to The Mines in Serdang and Jusco in Cheras Selatan. For the whole morning, Pa did not say anything about going out nor gave any hints.

So, it was like a rest day of lazing around doing nothing but relaxing our tired bodies for the 3 of us. Ma was having a bad day with headache...and was trying to sleep it off after taking some medication. That afternoon, Pa had to get lunch ready and he did what most men would do...buy lunch!

At about 3.00pm, Pa nudged Ma to find out whether her headache had cleared. He even asked me to do the same.

Then Pa dropped the bomb...he asked us to get ready to go out. Thats the cure Ma would welcome anytime. Ma tried hard to find out where Pa wanted to take us but he just kept quiet.

Finally, on the highway he broke the news...we were heading for The Mines but did not say why he wanted to take us there.

So here I am all ready to go out enjoying some raisins.

Pa asked us to walkabout and enjoy the view of the shopping mall...I loved it because I could see many fishes swimming in the man-made canal running through the mall.

The place was surprisingly deserted with more Indonesian construction workers than locals.

We had a tea-break at McD where I get to enjoy my favourite fries.

Finally, here's the surprise! Pa had planned all along to get a new dslr camera for himself...an upgrade from the current one. Ma was all smiles while I gazed at the sales person on the other side of the counter.

Since The Mines was near Jusco Cheras Selatan, Ma suggested that we head over there. Afterall, Jusco sale is still on.

Pa posing for his camera handled by Ma.

Pa and Ma took turns to perform their prayers at the surau.

Dinner was at KFC...chicken rice for Ma & I and 2-pc plate for Pa

The chicken rice came with soup which I get to taste too.

After all the walking, I do need to be changed and Jusco is a baby friendly shopping complex which is one of the reasons we prefer to shop here.

There is this poster of a baby in the Baby's Changing Room that I imitated the posture...Ma was amazed and smiling away at my skills.

We left Jusco just before 9.30pm. Pa took an easy drive on the highway back to Seremban. That was the surprise quick outing we had on Wesak Day.

Pa is a happy man now that he has a new toy to play with. Ma and I would surely be his selected and favourite models to test his new toy.

Thanks Pa for taking Ma and I for the quick outing.

Weding At Rantau

We attended a wedding at Rantau last Sunday...Ma's niece was getting married. Hmm...that means my cousin is getting married.

Anyway, we went to the wedding from our Seremban home. It was just past 2.00 pm when we reached there. We missed the berarak ceremony and all as the bride & groom were busy being photographed by guests and the official photographer (OP).

Lets go through the event we attended in the picture story below.

The usual signboard guiding guest to the wedding.

A different view of a photo session.

Pa managed to catch the couple as they were entering the house for some indoor photo shoot.

That smart looking guy in checked shirt is the OP.

I was also made to pose by Pa & Ma...just like a little flower girl?

The bride & groom were also busy welcoming latecomers like this chinese couple.

Thats the bride sandwiched between Ma and another of Ma's nephew's wife.

The cake with the sword lay waiting for the cake cutting ceremony as the couple was busy with the indoor photo shoot.

Weddings are also opportunity to meet up with relatives and friends.

That's Atuk's sister in red.

And this is Ma's cousin and her daughter holding somebody's baby. Don't they look alike? The girl in red tudung, Ma's niece is getting engaged early next month.

This shot was taken by Ma.

This little girl is looking rather tired.

We left the place just before 3.00pm.

We went back to kampung from there with Wan joining us since Atuk decided to stay a little longer.

Later that evening we went back to our Seremban home.

SR at Jusco

Our next stopover at Jusco was primarily to view the Sale which started on the Saturday. After going through the kid's, men's and ladies's sections, Pa remembered the well overdue plan to enjoy Secret Recipe cake.

Since there was an outlet in Jusco, we decided to indulge ourselves in some moist SR cakes.

Pa had this chocolate almond cake.

...while Ma opted for the cheesecake.

Ma enjoying her cheesecake as I looked wondering if she'd offer me a bite.

Ma pinched a bit of Pa's chocolate cake to offer me...but I pretended to refuse.

After a little persuasion from Ma, I gave in and went for the bite.

Hmm...Ma must have thought that I was being a little too much. Well, I wasn't really up to cakes at the moment. I'd rather enjoy my fries.

Pa & Ma took their own sweet time to finish their cakes while chatting away.

To show my boredom, I had Jumbo as my pillow pretending to be sleepy.

Pa got the cue and decided to cheer me up with the 'Enjit-enjit semut' song.

They soon realised that I wasn't joking about the boredom thing. So, Pa quickly went to the cashier to settle the bill.

On our way back, I was back in action...having some fun at the back seat.

We reached Senawang toll as the traffic was building up at the cash booth. At this time, Pa's T&G saved us the agony of waiting in a long line.

That was the SR treat Pa & Ma finally managed to go after many days of cancellation...because of me. Anyway, its good that I am not so much into the sweet stuff. I would not refuse it on special occasions though.

We have a wedding to attend on Sunday in Rantau.

Wedding at Rantau in the next posting. Bye for now.

Saturday Lunch With Pa & Ma

Pa and I left the house about 12.30pm to fetch Ma at her workplace. She finishes work at 1.00pm, so we had enough time to just have an easy drive to town.

On the way to town, Pa received a call from Ma to inform us that Ma's was offering 2 of her friends a ride to KTM Station. As we reached there, Pa had to clear some of the bags at the back to make room for extra passengers.

After dropping Ma's friends, we went up to Seremban Parade. Ma wanted to exchange the pair of jeans she bought on Friday for a different colour. We then headed to the food court to have lunch.

The drinks we ordered.

Pa's lunch

Ma's lunch...catered for me too.

Oops! I made a blunder over lunch; my drink dropped on the food court floor.

The Nepalese cleaner dragged his feet and his cleaning equipments towards our table. We could tell from his mopping actions and facial expression that he was not a happy man. The family next to our table looked on...expressionless! Me? I looked as innocent as I possibly can.

It was an accident after all!

Pa & Ma went up to Level 4. That's where the Surau is. I had the floor to myself to wander with my Remy sling bag.

The KTM Station could be seen from the parking area of Level 4.

Now that Ma had her jeans exchanged and we have had our lunch, we made Jusco our next stop. The Jusco sale had just started and Ma wanted to see whats on offer.

Jusco episode in the next post, okay?
