Our Sunday

Its the 2nd Sunday of April today and like most people, we spent most of the day at home. There's so many things to do at home like doing the laundry, cleaning the house etc.

That's me helping out Ma sweep the floor in the morning.

There's the other room that needed my services.

Later in the afternoon, Pa's ex-officemate came over after their shopping at Giant. She came with her hubby and son with something for me bought in Giant. The last time she saw me was when I was still a little baby during my first Hari Raya Puasa. I have grown since then.

They left just after 2.00pm.

Pa & I enjoying some oranges Ma served...oops! Why am I having the skin while Pa is enjoying the juicy orange? Just wanted to test and taste it!

We went out later to have a late lunch.

Ok I am ready Ma...but why is Pa not dressed yet?

We went to this place called Hj Shariff Cendol in Paul Street that serves...you guessed it right...cendol. They also have the typical Mamak Rojak.

There were only 3 tables occupied when we arrived. Later on more customers came when we were having our late lunch.

This is the place...a corner lot.

The 'cendol' in a small silverware bowl. Nice bowl but very small...hence little content!

Ma had this plain rojak

Pa ordered the one with 'mi'

I had my usual homemade porridge.

Later after lunch we stopped by Terminal 1. Ma wanted to get herself a new pair of shoes; one that she can wear to work and does not hurt her feet if she has to do a lot of walking.

An Indian karaoke session was taking place at the main lobby area of Terminal 1. An Indian guy belted out one of the Blue's Gang famous song in the NS dialect...Poi pokan...naik basikal....etc

We went down to Giant at the basement of Terminal 1 before leaving the noisy complex for home.

Its early to bed for me. Tomorrow is another new week and my 'bailk kampung' routine starts again.

Bye for now.
