Birthday Lunch At Johnny's

Last Sunday, 6th April 2008 was Ma's birthday and Pa treated her to a late lunch at Johnny's in Jusco S2. We wanted to eat at Secret Recipe but the place was packed and there was no vacant table in sight. Ma declined Pa's offer to try Manhattan's while Pa declined Ma's McD suggection. So, it was at Johnny's that we settled for our lunch.

Jusco complex was also packed; Pa had to drop Ma & I from the roof top parking while he looked for a space to park his car. We had earlier tried the 2nd floor parking but seeing so many cars making their exit and heading for the rooftop parking, Pa followed suit.

Ma & I waited for Pa at the 1st floor area opposite the post office. After a while, Pa showed up looking a little tensed. He had to drive out of the complex and parked his car away from Jusco complex near the shop lots with the rain starting to fall.

Not a very good start for a Birthday Lunch treat for Ma.

Birthday girl is ready but what's the other little lady looking at?

My regular Ma's Special Porridge with added ingredients...looks yummy?

Wait till you see what Pa & Ma ordered...

Hot & Spicy Fried Rice for Pa

Pineapple Fried Rice for Ma

The Tomyam that came with their fried rice.

This is Papaya Salad (Kerabu Betik)

To complete the birthday lunch, they ordered these for dessert.

Johnny's version of cendol strangely called "Salim"...Ma's dessert.

Mixed Dessert aka ABC...Pa's.

The final touch was ice cream.

Chocolate ice cream...mmmm...I had a taste of this.

Honeydew ice cream...this one is Pa's.

We left Johnny's on a very full tummy. The rain outside had stopped.

I got a ride on this before we left Jusco.

That was one late but really good lunch...a treat from Pa for Ma & I.

Thanks Pa.
