Opportunity Knocks

Last Saturday Ma had the opportunity to drive the car to work since Pa had to go down to Malacca with his boss. Pa met his boss at 7.30am in front of Regent Restaurant.

Ma also had the opportunity to see and talk to Pa's boss while waiting for another colleague to arrive. Ma's was initially a little nervous talking to Pa's boss but only for a while. She was looking forward to drive the car as soon as Pa left.

Just look at this happy face behind the wheels.

Ma drove straight to work. As it was early Saturday morning and not many offices were open, Ma could choose any parking space she liked. Of course she chose the one that was near her office and least obstacle.

After work, Ma did a favour for her colleagues. She gave two of them a lift to Terminal 1 which surprised them who thought Ma could not drive. Well at least they will have some respect for Ma from now on.

Since Pa was still in Malacca at lunchtime when Ma finished work, she decided to head for Jusco. At least she would not have to go back to Rantau and later come back to fetch Pa.

Ma managed to park the car at the open parking space within Jusco compounds. She noticed some police traffic issuing summons to cars parked at the roadside.

At Jusco, Ma bought a Power Puff Girl T-shirt for me. Pa called when he was near PD toll. Ma reached the same place, Regent Restaurant slightly earlier than Pa.

After that, it was back as a passenger for Ma but she had an enjoyable time driving the car. She even managed to pump some petrol in the car. Pretty good for not so regular driver.

Now, she is wondering when is the next opportunity that she'll get to drive Pa's car again.
