First Day of April

Rise and Shine! Its the first day of April 2008, a day people play pranks on friends.

Its the usual routine for me on Pa & Ma's working days.

Pack my stuff and making final checking before leaving.

Since Ma was still getting ready, I might as well enjoy the show on Astro.

As usual, we entered the highway through Senawang Toll noticing a rather slow moving traffic.

This is unusual...traffic jam on the highway?

An ambulance managed to pass by when we were stuck in the jam.

There was an accident involving a lorry and a Kancil but nothing serious.

The jam on the highway made us lose easily 15minutes. Just like the highway, Pa & Ma did a touch n go at kampung.

Pa had to go back to Rembau in the afternoon to see Wan. She called to inform Pa that she was not feeling well. Pa also informed Mama who in turn called Mak Ngah.

In the evening, Ma took the bus from town to Rantau since she had a monthly meeting at office which ended at 6.20pm. It's not fair to request Mami to wait for her and Pa was still in Rembau. Ma is familiar with the new bus ticketing system and had taken it a couple of times before this.

Pa left Rembau at about the same time Ma got the bus at Terminal 1, so they planned to meet up at the main road junction to Ma's kampung. Ma reached there 10 minutes earlier than Pa who came from Rantau direction. By the time they reached kampung it was 7.30pm.

Dinner was as usual early for Pa & Ma. Its Ayam Goreng Berlada. After his dinner, its "manja" time with Pa.

I get to handle his handset...no problem!

...and his camera!

Its my milk time and I sat comfortably in Wan's lap.

And here again.

We left kampung just before the end of the news at 8 on TV. On our way back, we stopped by Pa's colleague's house in Taman Tuanku Jaafar to pick up his laptop which his colleague brought home for Pa from office.

We did not stay long as I was very tired and sleepy. Its bedtime for me at
10.30pm.
