The Mines...Revisited

Oooh! Its been quite a while since my story has been updated here. Well...you know we have been a little occupied lately with events here and there. Furthermore, we have to shuttle to Ma's kampung on a daily basis leaving us very little time to update this blog.

Anyway, just want to share our recent outing to The Mines last Saturday, 7 June 2008. The last time we were here was when Pa got his D80. Our return visit this time was to get the photos taken at the engagement of Ma's niece. We decided to get the printing done here as the shop had offered a good price per piece since Pa had 100 plus shots to be printed.

We left our Seremban home before noon reaching The Mines well before noon. While the photos were being printed, we headed for the food court for lunch.

Here I am enjoying Pa's Soursop ice blended.

While Ma posed for Pa, I carried on sipping the delicious drink.

Pa and Ma ordered the same Nasi Goreng Fatima...Ma requested for the one without chillies; for my sake.

The juice sure was yummy I almost finished it...sorry Pa!

No matter what Ma did...I kept on enjoying Pa's drink.

Mmmmm...thanks Pa for your drink!

That was a good lunch break we had...but why the sad face?

We had to leave to get the the photos which should be ready by then.

After collecting the printed photos, we needed to find the photo album and other stuff as a package for the engagement photos. Since there was limited option at The Mines, we decided to head for the city centre. According to Pak Su, there are better choices at the shop in Danau Kota or Jalan Ipoh.

After driving around the Danau Kota area, Pa decided to try out the shop at Jalan Ipoh. We found the shop and the stuff we were looking for...and the shop was having a sale then; thats great timing.

Going back to Seremban early is definitely not our style. From the photography shop in Jalan Ipoh, we drove into the city centre...our next stop was Sogo. They were also having their sale...again great timing.

By the time we reached home, it was almost midnight. Pa got his photograpy stuffs, Ma & I got something at Sogo.

What a Saturdaywe had.
